Already since childhood, the DJ and producer has been pursuing his enthusiasm for music and appearently teaches himself himself this and that imstrument by the way, so that the classic pop and rock variante is initially the focus of his attention at first.

After all, it is a broadcast of the “Love Parade“ that can inspire the musician for the techno genre which hasn‘t let him him go since then.

His own radio show on the subject and first DJ gigs follow, including in the berlin cult club Salon zur wilden Renate for the “Bordel des Arts 2017“.

Musical role models such as Rampa, Tale of Us or Maceo Plex inspire Othertune to also become creative for other artists and act as a producer behind the scenes in addition to his own progressive and melodic techno tracks (released on Mukke and Click Records).

In his own studio, live in the club or as part of collabs with artits such as Kollektiv Klanggut the berlin resident established a creative, catchy melodic sound that both stays in head and drives onto the dancefloor. Never with the tunnel vision for his own genre, but always interested in looking beyond the musical horizon with a focus on sound quality and originality.

Wheter as a resident DJ in the Hamburg neighborhood in the house club “Frau Holle“ or as a part of the scene label Katz & Kauz Music - Othertune is busy and with a lot of energy in shaping today‘s techno scene and enriching it with his musical signature.
